Mike Thurmeier

Mike Thurmeier is an animator for Blue Sky.[1]

He went to Archbishop M.C. O'Neill Highschool.

He served as an animator for Fight Club and The Sopranos.

He later served as a supervising animator for Ice Age, Robots, and Ice Age: The Meltdown. At Archbishop M.C. O'Neill High School (Regina,Saskatchewan), in the Choir room, there is a huge Ice Age poster with Mike Thurmeir's signature on it. (He went to that High school.)

He most recently co-directed the short film, No Time for Nuts, starring Scrat. It was included in the Animation Show of Shows in 2006.

He worked on the computer animated version of Horton Hears A Who!

He recently co-directed Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

Thurmeier is currently working as director with Steve Martino of Horton Hears a Who! on Ice Age: Continental Drift.
